Hello to you all

Date for our training weekend this year is 5/6/7 October, based at Coniston 
Coppermines YHA on
half board basis - the cooking there is excellent and wine will be served 
with dinner!

Once again there should be something for everyone

Price will be £59.00 per person, you just need to get there

Let me know if you require a place and please publisise to your collegues

If you need to be assessed for the Terrain 1 or 2 scheme we can now once 
again do that

National Governing Body Qualifications

Mountain Leader Award

• For those who wish to lead a group of hill walkers anywhere in the UK under summer conditions.
• You will learn such skills as group management, navigation, emergency procedures and equipment, access and conservation and security on steep ground.
• ML training courses are run over six consecutive days or a series of weekends.
• ML assessment courses are run over 5/6 days, either in a single block or in two three-day blocks.
